Pennsylvania-headquartered AI data activation company Boomi has teamed with Melbourne-based operations, staffing, and maintenance services provider Programmed, enabling the latter to overhaul its vendor data management using the Boomi Enterprise Platform.
Boomi said the deal allowed Programmed to establish a single source of truth across compliance and operations, reducing manual effort, and providing real-time visibility across the vendor lifecycle.
Programmed is an Australasian-focused company, delivering facility management, property maintenance, training, and workforce services to some 10,000 customers across key industries, including mining, government, education, and infrastructure.
“The organisation operates at a scale where vendor information is critical operational infrastructure – and with information split across business units and applications, small data problems can rapidly compound into business risk,” said Boomi.
Programmed engaged Boomi partner Adaptiv to implement the Boomi Enterprise Platform’s Data Hub and Integration capabilities. Boomi said its Data Hub platform now acted as the master data management backbone for Programmed’s vendor records, allowing essential profile information, including compliance status, certifications, and insurance to be governed through a central golden record.
“Data Hub’s quarantine capability automatically detects and isolates inconsistent records from upstream systems before they could spread — becoming a critical safeguard from silent data errors for Programmed’s day-to-day operations,” it said.
Programmed said the result was a connected business process, with vendor information now moving across systems with far less manual re-keying. “Compliance and procurement teams spend less time checking, copying and reconciling data, while operational teams have a clearer view of vendor status, giving them greater confidence in their decision making,” the firm said.
