From 1 July 2026, the Australian National Broadband Company will make its annual changes to the wholesale prices charged to phone and internet providers.

NBN Co said wholesale prices will be adjusted, on average, by just under the annual percentage change in the Consumer Price Index (CPI), measured over the 12 months to 31 December 2025, which was 3.63 per cent. “Across its most popular residential fixed‑line speed plans, the wholesale price change is between $0 and $2.34 per month, depending on the speed tier,” the firm said. “For those on business plans, price changes will be aligned to CPI.”

The price customers pay for their nbn broadband service is set by their phone and internet provider. NBN Co said the changes were consistent with the regulatory framework in its varied Special Access Undertaking (SAU), which was accepted by the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission in October 2023 following extensive consultation, and was designed to keep wholesale pricing fair, transparent and predictable.

The table below outlines monthly price changes across some of NBN Co’s most used residential fixed line wholesale speed tiers. For the full list, please see the nbn Tariff List.
